SLITHERLINK PRO PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: July 2020

We're able to keep this statement fairly brief for you because we do not collect any personal and identifiable information through the SlitherLinkPro iOS app or Windows app and have no desire to do so. Data stored within the app includes app settings like chosen difficulty level, number of boards requested or the number of games played etc., and any started or locally available game boards. The app downloads new boards from our server. We also reserve the right to report anonymised statistics about the played boards to our server.

Excluding operating system managed data backups or roaming settings, any information you enter into the app stays on the device.

WINDOWS

From the perspective of your privacy, we feel our use of Microsoft's Visual Studio App Center service for both analytics and crash reporting is the most noteworthy part. We use this service to monitor and improve the quality of our software. Again, we do not send any personally identifiable information. Please refer to the Microsoft Privacy Statement for more details on what Microsoft may collect as a result of us using their services.

Like with all Windows Store apps, Microsoft aggregates basic usage details of the app and makes non-identifiable analytics available to the publisher. In addition to the default analytics, we may collect customised statistics via one of Microsoft's analytics services for quality purposes such as the chosen difficulty level, board size requested or the number of games played etc.
